RS broadcast with my girls!!!

So, this evening Ashlyn, Britta and I all went to the RS broadcast together. We started at my brand new stake center for dinner but the satellite wasn't up yet so we went to Ashlyn's stake center, and watched it. It's a blast having girly friends again! We bonded instantly through our hate for our jobs at Quiznos. But we like to be working there when we're together! We're planning a FHE with the three of us and our other friend Jenn from quiznos and her fiancee. Should be fun!

But the boadcast was was great and It was so great to have friends to sit with! Yay!!!:D

Newlywed FRIENDS!!

So we had a wonderful evening with our new newlywed friends:) We went over to Ashlyn and Michael's apartment tonight. (I work with Ashlyn at Quiznos) And we had the most wonderful time. We had hamburgers and corn on the cob and I FINALLY got to use the "Butter Boy" that I got from Gracie at my bridal shower, it was actually a very fun toy that worked incredibly well.

"The Butter Boy"- He holds a stick of butter, you take off his head and rub the butter on your corn, the underneath is shaped like corn..... like... rounded.... it's great!

Then we got to go play the Wii with Ashlyn and Michael. We played bowling and the boys golfed and we made our own little players:) It was such a wonderful evening and we love our new friends so much! Justin and I were worried that we wouldn't find a couple that we both liked and got along with.... but the operation was successful the first time we tried! HOORAY!:D

Utah State v. University of Idaho

Justin's Dad and brothers came down to Rexburg with his uncle and a few cousins. The gaggle of us headed down and met Savannah and dad in Logan at the UI v. Utah State game. UI lost horribly in the fourth quarter, but it was a pretty fun game until then;)

The weather was CRAZY all day, it couldn't figure out if it wanted to thunderstorm or be sunny.... and that kind of weather makes RAINBOWS!! There was a super cool full rainbow, I couldn't get a picture of all of it... but it was WAY cool!

Before the game Justin and I took a little detour to go check out the Utah State "Flying Aggies" program. We met with the Director of Aviation and got a tour of all of their airplanes. It was an awesome experience! We had so much fun there, and Justin's considering tranferring down there and becoming a pilot. So... we'll keep you updated on that one! (That plane is a DA40 by the way;))

Its Running!

So Justin and I have been dishwasher-less since we moved into our apartment. We've been washing everything by hand. But finally, the plumber came and fixed our dishwasher. I ran it for the first time this morning, so the picture would really be more exciting if you could hear the water running;) YAY for no more washing dishes by hand!!

Eastern Idaho State Fair

Last Saturday was the Eastern Idaho State Fair and Justin and I went with his Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins and hung out for the day. We ate a lot of fair food, Justin went on some rides, and we walked through the cow barn.... quickly. My favorite part of the day was the food, and reading "Twilight" to Justin driving to and from Blackfoot.

The Man I Married


1. What is his name? Justin

2. Who eats more? Justin, by far... I don't eat a whole lot and well... he's a boy:)

3. Who said I love you first? I don't remember, we were really into the "I less than three you" (<3 It looks like a heart) It was kind of a roommate inside joke:)

4. Who is taller? We're pretty close... ya know, there's only about a foot;) Justin, he is the taller one:)

5. Who is smarter? Common Sense smart or book smart? I think we split that one 50/50

6. Who is more sensitive? Me, I cry at everything

7. Who does the laundry? We've only had to do laundry once since we were married, and I did it.

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Justin sleeps on the right if you're laying on the bed.... I sleep on the right if you're looking at it.

9. Who pays the bills? Bills? What are those? Ha... just kidding we haven't come across any of those quite yet.

10. Who cooks more? I do. But it's only because I love it....:)

11. What meals do you cook together? Just about everything, Justin's a really good helper when you give him a job:)

12. Who is more stubborn? Me most likely

13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Justin, any time I disagree with him he says "yeah, that's what I meant, exactly what you just said."

14. Who has more siblings? I do, he has three and I have four.

15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? He does.... I prefer skirts;)

16. What do you like to do together? We love watching movies and eating.... we pretty much still like to do everything together:)

17. Who eats more sweets? Me I would think..... He likes them two though:)

18. Guilty pleasures? He LOVES airplanes, loves to build model ones, and do all kinds of different things with them.

19. How did you meet? We assume it was at a stake dance... when we were really young

20. When did you fall in love with him? Sometime between post-mission and becoming best friends.

21. Who has changed the most since you married? In less than three weeks? Both of us have changed a TON;)

22. Who proposed? Justin:)

23. His best features? Features huh? I love his smile and his dimples, I love his roofing muscles and his farmers tan. Pretty much, you name it I love it....:)

24. What is his greatest quality? His sense of humor and his happiness. He is so much fun to be around and keeps me happy all the time. He's wonderful:)

New Apartment!

We had an incredible honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the resort called Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. We LOVED the resort. The food was incredible, it was so beautiful, and it was so hot all of the time. It was such a wonderful vacation!

WEDDING!!

The Wednesday night before the wedding Justin and I went on a date to "The Roof" for dinner. It was such a fun evening as our last un-marrried "date night." This is a picture of us while we were waiting for our table.


This was our view while we ate from the INCREDIBLE buffet. This is an incredible restaurant if anyone hasn't been there. Such an incredible date and they have WONDERFUL desserts as well!

Then we went on a walk through temple square and got ourselves psyched up for friday when we would be married there!
