More Photoshoppin'

More Photoshop fun. I'm really wishing hard that I had the new program. But it's actually even cheaper at Utah State.... Someday I'll have it!

Listening to Conference:)

I love General Conference. I love to listen to the talks from Apostles of the Lord. But they all have very soothing voices that makes it quite easy to doze off. So I have projects to do while I listen. Yesterday, it was packing, with the TV up really loud. Today, it's playing with Photoshop.... :)

My sister Savannah LOVES posters. She has them all over her room. I love it! She's such a teenager now! AND she's growing up to be absolutely beautiful! So I thought I'd make a "Savannah" Themed poster... I used all of the pictures I had of her. Maybe I'll print it off for her and she can put it up in her room.... or pass them out to all of her admirers;)

Our Disneyland "Spring Break"

Well I finally have gotten around to importing these pictures from our "Spring Break." Justin and I made up our own spring break because BYU-I doesn't have one. We went to Disneyland from Wednesday to Saturday with my family. Justin and I love Disneyland, it may be one of our most favorite places on earth. We were so glad to be there!

My Comm 130 homework

I have a new passion....

and it's called Adobe CS3 (and probably CS4 that just came out, I haven't used it yet.) Right now I only have photoshop elements on my computer, and this is what I have come up with. I found out how EASY it is to make wedding/graduation/baby announcements that would otherwise cost big bucks.... who knew?!

So right now I am spending way too much time on the computer at home and at school and I am loving every minute of it. It also helps that I have such beautiful pictures to work with... yay for having a gorgeous sister:) Here's the spoils:)





And last but not least, not only am I loving photoshop... I am loving a program called illustrator.... here is a cute little thing I designed (which still needs a little work, I know!) if I ever actually start a wedding planning business. designed by jackie- your day. your way. catchy huh? Hooray for dreams....:)

Soon I'm going to start a fund called "help the poor students by Adobe programs" if anyone feels like donating I'd be happy to accept it;)

Saturday's Spring Cleaning

Saturday, Justin and I took on the huge task of cleaning our guest/storage room. We needed to get all of our boxes cleaned out and everything ready for the packing process.... it looked like a big task but only ended up taking us two hours, including a trip to DI. It was a successful Saturday:)

I had no idea before we got married......

I love the things that you learn about your husband after you get married. Tonight at the grocery store, he picked up some beef hot dogs and proceeded to tell me that he learned how to fry them on his mission... yeah... YUCK! So when we got home he showed me his wonderful cooking abilities, and I about died when he pulled my Italian olive oil out of the cupboard. (yes, I made him put it back and use canola oil;)) Here are a few quotes and pictures of the evening.

"See? Its just like frying bacon." "I think I may have put too much ketchup and mustard on and distorted the fried beef flavor." "I have enough of these to enjoy one a day for a whole WEEK! Unless.... I decide to eat six in one day." "Something's different, I think I need to burn them a little bit more on the bottom."
